2020 presented a totally unexpected and unprecedented set of challenged to UK business. During the Chancellor’s attempts to support the UK economy, corporates and charities were offered soft-loans and a range of initiatives to ensure survival. Against this backdrop there was a high risk that Social Enterprises, forming a fast growing sector of the UK economy would fall between the gaps.
