Grenfell: Our Home

Channel 4's first VR film, Grenfell: Our Home, tells the story of life in the tower prior to the fire, using a pioneering combination of 360 stereoscopic interviews and atmospheric virtual reality animation. Made over the course of a year, the 15-minute film features original music by acclaimed Icelandic composer, Biggi Hilmars. The film premiered at the Sheffield Documentary Festival, was released on a bespoke virtual reality app by Channel 4 and was shown in a series of screenings in and around the Grenfell community, with the support of survivors' groups and NHS trauma specialists.
